The Indian Chatroom is Social Area's main open room for people from across India, and for Indians living abroad. It is a public group chat where you can talk about everyday topics, make new friends and meet people from different cities, states and language backgrounds.
You do not need to fill in long forms to try it. The chat entry page offers a guest option, so you can pick a nickname and join the conversation. If you prefer to keep a profile, you can register an account instead.
If you are looking for people from one place or language, the room directory also has separate rooms for cities, states and languages. The Indian Chatroom is a good starting point if you are new and just want to see how Social Area works.
